BahagniHarrie apparently came from a play of the word Bahaghari (a Filipino word which means Rainbow) hence the display of flashy kaleidoscopic pieces. Their collection of eye-popping accessories with spectrum of wacky colors will give your ensemble the most interesting accent. This store owned by Juno Javier and Janina Saspa specializes in making clay accessories and other unquestionably delicious delights that provide the wearer an instant visual wit.

1. Please tell us something about yourself.
Juno Javier, 21: a licensed teacher, currently teaching at Kumon Method. I finished college at SMC,QC, took up BEEd with Specialization of Early Childhood Education.

Janina Saspa, 21: currently studying UP Diliman taking up BS in Clothing Technology, also the owner of Monstercloset.

We’ve been friends since 4th year highschool(2005), both a member of YFC-NB5. We both love rainbows and everything nice.

Our little working area is located at Janina’s unit @ Katipunan.

2. What is Bahagniharrie all about?
Bahagniharrie is an online shop that offers colorful-personalized clay accessories, plus we also sell uniquely designed tarp wallets, colorful yet efficient planner, and resin accessories. The brand name Bahagniharrie was a just random idea, we just wanted a corny-yet-catchy name that’s why we made the word “bahaghari” a little cornier, and in all fairness we caught a lot of loyal customers. :)


3. Why and when did you decide to start Bahagniharrie?
BahagniHarrie started last Dec 2008 :) At first, we just wanted to have extra income so we made random earrings made with clay, which were brought home by Janina when she came back here from the US. Our first batch of earrings were sold at St. Mary’s fair, for a really cheap and affordable price of 50php, for the sake of extra income. (haha!) Since people liked it, we decided to make an online site and see if it will work, and yes!!! IT WORKED! Thank God! :D


4. What makes your shop different from the bunch?
Bahagniharrie is not just your typical clay accessories shop, we make personalized accessories that bursts with colors and love. :) In adddition, we also sell our own designed tarp wallets, bead bracelets, resins, and intensely hued yet efficient planners, edited by yours truly. :)


5. What inspires you to do/create all these things?
Our customers inspire us to continue what we are doing right now.They are the reason why this business is still running, because of their unending support —and orders :))) HAHAHA! :D God inspires us so much. This is our way of thanking him for giving us such wonderful hands and brilliant mind that can make every design possible. :D


6. Any words of advice to people who are looking to open up an online shop?
Anything is possible with a great and creative mind. Don’t hesitate to try and create new ideas. You’ll never know what could happen after a year or so. Be patient and creative. Use your wildest imagination :D
